English made Men’s shoes (and boots) are generally made in fittings E, F, G and H and these can be classified simplistically as follows:

E = Narrow
F = Regular
G = Wide
H = Extra Wide

The bulk of our styles are made in F fitting, as statistics show that worldwide this is the most appropriate fitting for a majority of males, but we also offer a good selection of G fitting shoes.

The Description

Our ‘Kirkby’ is a classic plain tie derby shoe, featuring Goodyear welted leather soles for a classic look. Waverley uses the ‘1639’ last shape, and is available in a ‘F’ fitting. These mens shoes are designed and engineered in Kettering and made in our high-grade factory in England.
The Last

1639

This last is shorter in the toe than some, but also broader in this area. It gives shoes such as our famous Royal brogue a bolder appearance. This last shape generally runs true to size, but is a little roomier toward the front compared with other F fitting lasts.
